*Official* Pakistan in England 2010

In case anyone missed the earlier post, James Anderson averages six in this series.

Yes the batting has been laughable and the conditions helpful but you don't average that without bowling well....

Hmm, that looked very close. Cooky not looking particularly clever...but going miles over the top...hmmm

Cook gone now...looks in all sorts of trouble at the moment

So having better figures in this series againt pathetic batting lineup makes him better than Asif and Aamir....

Yes he had bowled well....But give the same Pakistan batting lineup to Aamir and Asif their average will be much more better.....

I love James Anderson..I think he is a very good bowler.. But its important to put things in perspective here.. Trott smashed 200 against a toothless Bangladeshi attack..doesnt mean all of us are going go call Trott the next Ricky Ponting.
Yes Anderson has 5 wicket hauls against Australia too..and that was a phenomenal achievement..but averaging 6 against batsmen who wouldnt even make it to the Bangladeshi test side should not be hailed so highly.

 Cook gone. He looks in unbelievably bad form ATM. Really not confident taking him to Australia. Would much rather watch Carberry in this side. Cook just doesn't seem to be moving forward as a cricketer. He's worked hard on his game, but still has the same technical deficiencies that plagued him in Australia 4 years ago. If he fails to make a big score in this series he's gone for me.

Before the series started Broad and Anderson were averaging about 35 runs per wicket in tests. Thats pie chucker stats. If anyone seriously thinks they're world class, lets see what happens in convict land.

Just promote Trott. He's number 3 for England and he plays for Warwickshire. So he's used to coming in early anyway.

Lol.

We saw how Pakistan performed with Yousuf there in Australia.

People seem to remember Younis and Yousuf as if they were absolutely brilliant.
What?!You honestly think they aren't brilliant? Two batsman who average about 100+ runs between them/innings?
