Pakistan would be the best team in the world if Younis Khan & Mohammad Yousuf were in the team. Would give their batting some solidarity and Umar Akmal would probably score big runs if he were coming in behind them instead of Ali, Amin and Malik which has taken a massive toll on his batting.
All Pakistan need to do is get 300 runs in their first innings and no team will beat them if they continue to play all of their home matches in England with their attack (Aamer, Asif and Gul). Their bowling attack is dominating even though their batting is doing them no favours, so if they get their opposition under some pressure then things could get very ugly for the opposition. Only Morgan's century in the first Test saved England.

People seem to remember Younis and Yousuf as if they were absolutely brilliant.

Pakistan would have been the best team in the 90s too above Australia if the team had shown some solidarity and stopped infighting. If Pakistan had x it would be y. Well x is never gonna occur. Neither of them are/were brilliant. But they get in the side and they'll actually score some runs and their selection will probably boost Umar Akmal's batting aswell. Neither of them will be world beaters, but atleast their good enough to play Test cricket.

Indeed, the last time India were in England, Zaheer and RP were made to look like world beaters and Sreesanth was also made to look quite good, despite bowling mostly crap.

Being corrupt and highly linked to match fixing should also be enough for him to get the sack.
Mohammed Yousuf could have not picked up a cricket bat for 10 years and he still would be better than Azhar Ali, Salman Butt, Imran Farhat and the rest of these clowns. One wonders how Aus lost to this outfit...
