Been an entertaining one-sided arseholing, it must be said.

Cosgrove must drive coaches potty, has so much talent but, well look at him. Even Ollie Milburn might've considered forgoing the extra steak n kidney pudding had he attained that bulk.
Has a slight rodent look to him as well, resembles an enormous groundhog.

No doubt the big guy's talented, but it would only improve his all-round game if he could shed a stone or five! You have to question a player's commitment when he allows himself to swell up to such an extent, presuming of course he has no medical condition.

I thought he had a condition and he did lose some of the weight awhile back but it just came back again. Feel sorry for the guy if he does got dropped from his aussie state side even though he has been playing great cricket.

The match at Southend certainly seems to be moving on quickly - 26 wickets in two days, would that be one for the Pitch Inspector?

The Sky game might be a good one btw - at least Middlesex have a more achievable target than Glamorgan last night. My first look, I think, at Middx stumper John Simpson (another one for the Famous Names thread) and the recently shaved Andrew Hall - still looking a bit stubbly I'd say.

Pretty ordinary effort from Owais tonight I thought. Criminal to take that time to play yourself in and then not go on.

Have to say if you drew a beard on Willey jr he'd be absolute ringer for his old man.

Hmmm, well behind on D/L aren't they. Not that they seem to be in danger of going off but it gives you a pretty good idea of how the chasing side are placed. Simpson has played a few nice shots but looks more like a timer of the ball than a big hitter. Doesn't have the physique for starters.

Rapidly turning even more one-sided than yesterday's cakewalk. Middlesex not helping themselves with a complete lack of urgency - and their side, as always, seems to be short of a couple of proper batsmen. I'm still yet to buy the notion that Gareth Berg is a 6.

I did think they had a slim chance while the 6th wicket pair were together, but the loss of Berg with 120 needed off 12 overs has probably ended the contest.
