Outstanding bowling by Jimmy 11fer,great effort by England overall,a couple of tons and a 11for by Jimmy.Good test match overall but expected a bit more from Pakistan but still enjoyed it.

We did well but there is room for improvement.Sign of a good side though when you can win easily and still pick flaws in the performance.

Take the gloves off Akmal and find a new keeper. He can stay in the team setup and try earn his spot as an opener or #3, probably good enough to partner Butt. Fast track MoYo and Younis back into the lineup and you may have yourself a team going.

Finn's shorter deliveries this test match have looked unthreatening.

Most of the short deliveries haven't looked up to much,the pitch just didn't offer much as far as bounce,I can only remember 2 good short ones all match, 1 off Broad and 1 off Gul.

I knew this was the worse Pakistan batting line-up in living memory but that was ****ing pathetic. Great to watch mind. When Salman Butt is regarded as one of your better players you know you are ****ed.

Kamran Akmal has played 15 test matches in England, Aus and RSA and averages 15.

Unfortunately for Kamran, he can't turn it around again in Karachi and make another career-saving 150+

With the quick turnaround in these tests, Pakistan are really squeezed and even though it makes me I can't see Kamran being dropped.

Doubt it. Butt averages less than 30 outside Pak, less than 10 in England. Akmal senior almost has worse stats. MoYo won't bat 3 and is finished. Akmal junior is a glorified slogger who doesn't seem to know if to stick or twist. Nasser got Malik right, he is a tailender. Only one who should be playing is Khan. As for the other players, Kaneria should never play test cricket again and Gul second innings aside has been a disappointing test bowler for Pakistan.

Played 5 test matches against England in England and averages close to 60. Not reactionary, he is a poor bowler and surely you would recognise that being from Essex.

If you dropped Kaneria who would you bring in? Saeed Ajmal? he is a one day bowler and that is it, he would get tonked in Test cricket IMO. Kaneria has had a bad game but he will be stuck with, he is the best spinner at their disposal so Pakistan will keep the faith.

Pakistan have got troubles, Umar Amin' confidence just looks shot, he didn't play well against Australia and is struggling against England so i think he should be taken out of the firing line. If you don't select Younis Khan then Hameed should be brought in.

As for Kamran Akmal, he is a rubbish keeper and always will be, alot of wicketkeepers have gone away and improved no end (i.e Prior) but Akmal just hasn't over the years. his batting is rubbish aswell, he can sometimes slog a 50 but his techinque is rubbish and if there was a better option out there for Pakistan then he would be nowhere near this side. Don't know how good this Haider bloke who is the reserve keeper so wouldn't know how good he is with gloves or bat.

Overall England were awesome. Morgan and Anderson especially

Yeah, nearly spat out me Pot Noodle when I heard that. Admittedly the gash fielding from his side has probably exaggerated the difference, but he's way off the mark there. Our batting isn't prefect, but it's obviously a couple of levels above Pakistan.

Nasser just said if you add up the averages of the Pakistan and Bangladesh XIs the latter's is higher overall. 'Nuff zed.

The Kaneria hate does seem a complete overreaction to me, but unlike the rest of the underperforming side, he actually has a pretty good potential replacement.
