*Official* Australia vs Pakistan in England

Strongly anti-Clarke though.
No doubt, but not because he's Australian. Streetwise as usual trying to start **** on this board.

Clarke is no doubt one of the more hated players on CW atm. I'll fully admit I'm not a fan.

It's not because of comments like that though, but purely due to his batting. Whether it's fair criticism or not, at least for once a player is being hated (or loved) for the way he is batting. So it's not really an unfair thing I'd say.

The only case I can see of a tide turning against a player so quickly solely because of his performance.
He's not talking about last time though, he's talking about this series where he's not batting at three. A class player (which he looks to be) will find it even easier when the ball is older and not swinging as much, simple as that.
Sure, but it did read as if he suggested he wouldn't be able to do what he did yesterday against the new ball. When he did it in the World Cup.

In yesterday's game, it was harder to score with the older ball it seemed anyway.

Wrong decision to drop Watto for this game.....

Oh Well, we bat again! Yes!
Nah, it's the right decision. Just played 6 matches in a row, the last one being 24 hours ago. With a lot of cricket to come over the next month there's no point risking him for a relatively meaningless twenty20.

He's had an immense workload these past few... days.

Seriously though just come out and say you're rotating out to give the new kid a run, don't bald-face bull**** with us.

Pretty low confidence now Watto isn't playing. Looks like Paine is opening. Sigh.

Oh my bad, yes, i just saw your location, assuming you are an aussie...lol.
Oh I am, but I support the Indian cricket team.

Don't really mind who wins this match (unless I end up betting on it). Just want my favourite players from either side to do well.

Yeah, fully understand the decision behind leaving out Watto.
Not so sure about Smith though.

Really hope this is to facilitate his test debut, and bowling a bunch of overs.

Relatively meaningless?

"Australia have a new partnership at the top of the order with Watson missing. Captain Michael Clarke, who's been in pretty hideous Twenty20 form, will open alongside David Warner."

Another tactic by Clarke to play mental games with Umar Akmal!

You Evil Clarke!
