*Official* Australia vs Pakistan in England

Haha nah it was a gun move. Don't think many question his tactics as captain though.

If anything, he's a smart captain sometimes by batting himself down the order

No doubt, but not because he's Australian. Streetwise as usual trying to start **** on this board.

Clarke is no doubt one of the more hated players on CW atm. I'll fully admit I'm not a fan.

It's not because of comments like that though, but purely due to his batting.
Whether it's fair criticism or not, at least for once a player is being hated (or loved) for the way he is batting. So it's not really an unfair thing I'd say.

The only case I can see of a tide turning against a player so quickly solely because of his performance.

Sure, but it did read as if he suggested he wouldn't be able to do what he did yesterday against the new ball. When he did it in the World Cup.

In yesterday's game, it was harder to score with the older ball it seemed anyway.
Think the claiming of grassed catches unlikely to endear him to many non-Aussies either. Plus he's playing in what seems to be a very likeable Aussie team so his minor villainy is amplified by comparison too.

Hmm. Tame end for Umar in the end there.

& Razzaq cops a first baller; Nannes on a hat-trick.

EDIT: Huh. You'd give a bloke on a hat-trick at least one slip, wouldn't you?

You were saying about Nannes :p

End of innings wickets are so important in twenty20, new bats wont have any time to get in and Afridi and Akmal could have done so much damage being set.

Ha, Gul plays right across a straight one.

O'Keefe a bit of a dart bowler then? Spearing them in today anyway.
