It's true in all sports people can take an instant like or dislike to a competitor for no apparent reason. For instance I took to Maria Sharapova the first time I saw her, and to this day I can't work out why.I generally don't support teams and mainly support players that I like. I often don't have any real reason for liking the players I do, either.
This sentence will amuse the dyslexic members of CW imo.Ball bashing, being clutch, and having the ability to come back from behind. She has all 3.
Hmm... not sure she's underachieved actually considering her limitations.. she's probably the female equivalent of someone like Berdych and she's got 3 Slams to her name. She's definitely an underachiever, and has been stubborn with regards to changing her game, no doubt. Reckon she'd been a bit unlucky with injuries too though.
I agree, if Serena had always been as fit/focused as Federer, she'd have smashed all the Slam records on the women's side by now, but she has only been like that since 2009.Berdych might well have 3 Grand Slams if the men's game was comparable to the women's game. There hasn't been a female equivalent of Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal in a long time now.
Only playing three sets makes it much easier to cause an upset, too.
Ain't that the truth.Nalbandian back, fit and in form is so good for tennis.
