Durham finished 117-8, which included an 8th wicket stand of 66.

I hope they don't expect Morkel and Breese to get all the wickets as well.

Another low-scoring affair at Canterbury, with the Kent spinners doing the damage against Hants. Cork got a first-baller from Van Jaarsveld, I imagine he'd have had something to say about that. :) Kent struggling in reply though, with another wicket for Simon Jones - his old England team-mate Geraint.

Sussex doing even worse than Kent ... Goodwin gone after staying half an hour for 8. Good running catch by Malan.

Encouraging to see Jason Roy turning it on again for Surrey, but surprised to see Tremlett playing after yesterday's exertions. I suppose with Nel, Dernbach and Linley crocked there weren't too many alternatives.

Fine effort from Rayner with the bat. Haven't seen much of him this season.
Wasn't bad with the ball either.
Been injured or in the 2nds Mr Z?

Elsewhere, Gibbs went ape with the bat for Yorkshire and Rashid has done a very good job with the ball. Northants needing 4 to tie off the last ball. Which they got!
Boje hitting 12 off the last 2 balls, one no ball 6 and then a 4 off the bowling of Pyrah.

Unsurprisingly, Durham lost. Though Scaly may take heart from the fact they only used 6 bowler.

20 wickets in the Hampshire game, can't be a frequent thing can it?

Poor old Derby make 198 and lose.

HUGE six from Shah in the last over. That went miles out of the ground, massive hit.

Keegan on, sporting the dodgiest haircut I've seen in Pro Cricket. Not a good look. The Mohican can look decent, on Dan Hardy for example, but if your head is the shape of a tennis ball like Keegans, the last thing you want to do is draw attention to that fact. The haircut is complimented by some equally as dodgy facial hair too. Sort it out Chad.

Wicket maiden again for Murtagh.

Lancashire 11/3 off 3.1
Whilst Surrey are off to a flier.

Tino Best bowling quick. Delivery to get Carter read 96.9mph on the speed gun. Seems he's trying to keep up with Tait.

Jimmy Adams off to a flyer again for us. He's had a fine T20 campaign so far.

Ouch, Middlesex got pasted. Tresco made 83(38) then 6 bowlers took wickets to skittle Middlesex for 125 in chase of 204.

Rashid continues his excellent bowling form of late. 2/20 from his 4 overs. Anyone with Sky watch his spell?

Not quite so impressive from Simon Jones today, undoing all of Pothas's hard work with the bat.

Briggs going well again though, shame to lose with one ball to go but looked out of it for most of the match.

Making my first and very overdue trip of the season to the Rose Bowl tomorow.

First bit of real cricket for ages.

Lyth in the runs again, first to 1000 runs fior the season. Been impressed whenever i've seen him this year

Are you going soft? He's a Yorkie after all.

I agree with you though, think he could tour Oz as the third opener. Would rather have him then Carberry, TBF.

Not sure why we continue to persist with Chilton in T20, Karl Brown has been absolutely killing it in the second XI, deserves his chance (in 4 second XI trophy games he has 3 tons and a 98)

Still in a decent position at 111/3 with 5 overs to go after being 2 down fr nothing, Smith in the runs again
