Got him in the end, with 13 overs to spare. Gallant effort by Derby (the highest ever 4th innings total at Chesterfield). Are things looking up?

2008 - no wins
2009 - one win
2010 - two wins (so far)

Now if we could just have a result at the Oval (or Guildford, I'm not fussy) ...

Really looking forward to seeing Simon Jones bowling tonight for us. Been looking out to see when we were next on Tele as I've been keen to see how Simon's bowling. Will be keeping a keen eye on his pace specifically, be fantastic for him if he's still got the pace and bowls well. Be nice to see Lumb get a few runs too, he's been painfully short of form since returning from World T20 duty.

 FFS. Lumb gone. He's completely lost his timing, that was a shocking dismissal. Hopefully it'll be Davies that comes in to replace him in the England T20 side next time we play a T20i.

Hants doing alright though - 170+ should be on here.

Poor drop by Allenby in the last over - completely misjudged it.

Great innings from Adams this. Century up for him, first man since Cameron White to score 2 T20 centuries in a season and he's the first to make a T20 century without hitting a 6. Fine knock, and we should get past 200. Been some sloppy stuff from Glamorgan, but we've batted very nicely. Hopefully Simon Jones'll pick up a couple of wickets now.

199/5 off the 20 overs then. Fine effort that. Should win from here.

Jesus. Cosgrove living well in Taffland. Never been swelte, but bugger me, he's he-owwge now.

Carves a six as I type. And McKenzie shells a dolly off his next ball. Woeful.

**** me, Jonah's lost some weight. Looks almost emaciated.

Picks up Allenby tho. Invites him to go forth and be fruitful afterwards tho, which was a bit unnecessary.

Jones' first over speeds:

87.7mph, 86.3, 88.2, 86.2, 89.2 and 89.2.

Safe to say he's still got some pace. Was a pretty good over too. The ball that got Allenby appeared to beat him for pace. Seeing that Jones hasn't bowled much over the past couple of years he seemed to bowl a pretty good lines and lengths. Just hope the knees hold up and he can get a long spell of cricket in. One thing slightly different I noticed about his action was his run-up though. He always had a fairly laboured run-up, but he doesn't appear to be using any energy in his run anymore, just jogs in lightly and then explodes into his action.

I don't think he's quite Warwick Armstrong proportions (wasn't he 20 stone at his peak, or something ridiculous like that) and he's not quite a Leverock, but I imagine Ollie Milburn would have been of similar build.

As the Sky boys have been saying, highlights the difference in fitness levels needed to play county or international cricket.

Good to see Jones back, however briefly it may be this time.

Glamorgan are going to get bowled out in about 14 overs at this rate. Won't be good for their net run rate.

Enjoyed watching that, love Adams, has made himself into such a good ciricketer in all forms of the game over the last couple of years.

Obviously good to see Jones playing, anything we get out of him is a bonus really. Briggs with three wickets, him and Wood both had excellent seasons in this and hope they can carry it on into the longer stuff, going to the Rose bowl on sunday and hope they both play.

Oh and I will say it again Lumb needs to be dropped, commentators agreed he needed a rest, felt a bit sorry for him today just no form whatsoever.

Sussex win toss and batting in tonight's Battle of the '***es.

Ben Scott back from Worcs I see. Ed Joyce and Chad Keegan both playing against their old side. And RMJ left out for Sussex.

Wow, just seen Durham and Leics' scores.

Joyce goes for just the nine then.

Goodwin strides to the crease. Quality top order, the Sharks.

EDIT: & Prior follows the next ball. Matty Prior stiched up by Murtagh's slower ball. Bowler on a hat-trick!

Nice catch, well, two catches now - but why on earth would they have the floodlights on at Hove? The sun doesn't set for another two hours. Sussex have money to burn obviously.

No hat-trick then ... but Imran Tahir got one for Warks earlier, two on the same day would have been something.

And another one gone!
