Lancashire falling apart to Yorkshi*e's spinners. Durham building up a healthy lead despite pissing about with the last wicket (with the help of some more 'inspired' captaincy from Mustard).

If this is how people have been bowling at Prior in Domestic T20, it's not a surprise he's made so many runs. Been dreadful bowling from Essex. TBF to Prior, he has put them away well, can tell he's in good knick.

Sussex look to have this in the bag though - Essex now chasing 54 off 23 after a decent start. Styris couldn't do it for them this time.

Good stuff from Sussex, we're really looking a professional outfit in limited overs cricket. But scaly's right. Mickelburgh's innings was inexplicably awful

Rashid eventually picks up the last two. Would take some going for there to be a positive result in the game. Yorkshi*e have to really look at themselves when they batted at the end of their innings. Was the last wicket partnership (29) really worth consuming 16.4 overs? Their own fans gave them a lot of flak last year for not being positive enough...

Interesting last day in prospect at Derby? Home side 136-1 chasing 408 v Surrey. You'd like to think they'd go for it while they have top-order wickets in hand - that probably represents Surrey's best chance as well - but I have a feeling they'll end up shaking hands on a draw.

Surprised that Worcs have even competed as much as they have this season tbh - after the winter they had I expected them to be outplayed in pretty much every game.

Smith is probably past his use-by date though.

7/29 for Harmy, he absolutely destroyed Warwickshrie this morning. 700 FC wickets is a good effort.

Always had a soft spot for Harmison for some reason.

Hmmm, Derbyshire need 71 off a minimum of 23 overs with three wickets left, against a Surrey side with three fit bowlers, one of whom (Tremlett) could I suppose go at any time. Going to be uncomfortably close.

And with this game as its background, another excellent feature on the county game by George Dobell on Cricinfo today, responding to a recent article by Mark Nicholas in the Wisden Cricketer.

Can't seem to access online commentary for some reason, no link from the Cricinfo scorecard to Radio London's coverage.

Yea another one of whom is Gareth Batty.

Anyway Derby 9 down with a retired hurt... wonder if he'll bat again or not. Yep he's back out there.

Had to go back in that situation really if he was able to stand there and hold a bat - 17 overs to claim the last wicket.
