WACAh Burgey, when Bell complete's his 4th ton of the series as we make it 3-0 at the WACA, you'll apprecaite the genius that is Ian Bell.

Don't think they'll be doing much more losing with what they've got coming through though unfortunately.I don't get the hate for Watto. He's actually one of the few Aussies I like, alongside Warner, Tait, Harris and Nannes. This current bunch do seem remarkably likeable for an Australian side though; maybe it's because they're losing.
You bet. Was referring to how Bresnan threw his toys out the pram because of some faceless troll on twitter the same way Trent Reznor did, in a big, childish and public way.?
Were you meant to quote me?
Haha okay. I thought you were calling me a troll and was very confused. You bet. Was referring to how Bresnan threw his toys out the pram because of some faceless troll on twitter the same way Trent Reznor did, in a big, childish and public way.
For those of you who saw me 'fainting' in the England dressing room today I can confirm it was because Bres turned down a teacake
Out of interest, which bowlers would these be?there have really been quite a few guys in Australia alone over the years who could touch Tait-like speeds if all they had to do was go balls-out for 4 overs.
Heard he was lightning in his early 20's before getting in trouble with teh lawww......Shane Harwood generated some serious gas in a few T20s I saw him play for Victoria and he was always troubled by injury, so if he never had to play longer cricket he might've got right up there too.
Haha, we're old, man. Shane has a framed pic from the local paper of him facing Spencer in a Shield game where he ripped SA's middle and lower order apart. Now, admittedly Shane is no Bradman but the pic is stunning; all three stumps blown out of the ground and flying in various directions with Shane in the middle of his back-swing. I saw the spell live but was too young to appreciate just how unplayable it was and I was still blown away (as were the SACA's). For a short bloke, generated some serious rapidity.Duncan Spencer bowled one of the quickest spell I have ever seen (though only on TV) back in the very early 90s. A real slingy action.
I think 99% of the Duncan Spencer mentions on here have been by either me or you
At his tops, was considered the quickest in the country by a long way. Probably Waqar-esque for raw pace so maybe a yard short of someone like Tait. Hard to say, tbh. Genuine slinger. What about Wayne Holdsworth? I never saw him bowl but when he came to England in 1993 he was billed as north of rapid though we never got a chance to see it.
Holy crap. Thank you Youtube. Who knew it was there? This has made my day. Here is the game I was talking about.Haha, we're old, man. Quick look at his profile, can't believe he's only 38. Seemed an age ago he was playing for WA.
