As Burgey said the class of opposition was very different, but NZ were everything Australia weren't the other night - tight, disciplined, well-organised. And not completely pony.

Geez Smeltz made up for his missed header with that ball in for the goal. And great stuff from Reid, stopped a near-certain goal at one end and then scored the equaliser at the other.

Yup a class above, particularly so given he was effectively the sole central defender with the two wingers/wing back formation played. Easy to see why Blackburn rate him so highly.
