Tough first set. Nadal winning the big points. Soder ruing missed opportunities.

Crowd behind Soder, just like last year

Haha that's the best way to put it!

Playing ridiculous tennis. Just amazing.

That point he played break point down in the 2nd set was so so so important. Just told Soderling "doesn't matter what you do, I will get the ball back."

What a moronic display of Tennis in French Open Final, I tune in to watch after ages and this is what I get. Soderling should never play in another final again.Worst attitude, Gave up from the first break.

No he didn't. He had numerous break points in the 2nd set, including one where he played an amazing point except Superman Nadal managed to get the ball back from basically in the crowd.

Some very harsh comments on Soderling here, Nadal is just ridiculously awesome.

Looking forward to the grass court season now, hoping Nadal can get his second Wimbledon, just hope those knees hold up ok.

Reckon he tanked it after failing to get that break

Shame is that he has the game to really trouble Nadal on clay, especially if he works on his volleys

Have to say I find Nadal incredibly boring to watch - the guy is basically a human backboard and on many occasions, simply let's the other guy keep hitting until he makes a mistake or an opening presents itself

Good to see Marina Erakovic back in some form - into the 3rd round in Birmingham.

Hopefully the start of a rise back to the top 40 after an injury-plagued 18 months or so.
