Guys, what's your favourite wrestling moment? Can be from any company, show, PPV. Can be a promo, match, tribute video etc.

I'm having a think right now. I really loved the end of Wrestlemania XX, but obviously incidents since have plagued that.
Edge jumping off the top of the ladder at WM17 to spear Jeff Hardy is probably the most iconic moment I can remember.

Kane returning from injury and beating the crap out of Lance Storm, Test and Christian was amazing as well, never heard such a loud pop I don't think.

Stone Cold coming out at Backlash 2000 to help the Rock was probably the hardest I have ever marked out...such a great moment.

Benoit and Jericho beating HHH and Austin for the tag team titles.

The pedigree on the thumbtacks..

there are probably more that I have forgotten, but those are the really important ones that immediately spring to mind for me.

Wrestlemania IX (last one before it sold out imo).

Held at Caesar's Palace, My Fuji threw salt in the eye of Brett Hart when he had Yokozuna in the sharp shooter, Yoko went on to pin the Hitman and take the title... until Hulk Hogan came out (who had earlier teamed up with Brutus 'The Barber' Beefcake to defeat Money Inc. in a brilliant tag team match up) and challenged Yokzuna and pinned him. Crowd went nuts.

That or the time The Ultimate Warrior got up after four flying elbows from Randy Savage in a 'career ending match up'. ****, so emotional.

Warrior beating Hogan, when I actually saw the tape, is probably the most I've ever marked out.

I also went nuts when Nash beat Goldberg and broke the streak.

I don't know though. Benoit winning the title is still the one moment where I just sat and was as content as I've ever been as a wrestling fan.

Haha, actually. Jericho winning the World Heavyweight Championship at Unforgiven 2008 was also pretty damn great, just because it came so out of the blue and was so unexpected. WAG, love that guy.

Or what about when Shawn Michaels gave Marty Janetti some sweet chin music and catapulted him through Brutus 'The Barber' Beefcake's barber shop window??

****, the Rockers were so good. Michaels was just so unreasonable.

Jannetty's career just went down hill after that. Still reeling.
His comeback on RAW when the rockers were reunited was pretty good actually, worth looking up on youtube if you haven't seen it.

Interesting statistic, just had a look at the records for the PWI match of the year, and it's nearly been 7 years since it was won by a match that did not involve HBK, an astounding (if not altogether surprising) statistic. WAG.

Haha, that was a great game. Played that loads and loads before I really knew anything too much about wrestling. Remember I won the WCW World Title with La Parka and Psicosis loads of times.

Should have been made to happen in real life imo
Been playing it recently have you

Oooooh great question

Two for me, but I may add more (you may regret asking this)

1 - Jericho's phantom title win in April 2000. 'Marked out' so hard for that
2 - Shawn's cuthtroat sign to Taker at Mania this year followed by the jumping tombstone. The whole thing was stroytelling of the highest quality

Loads of honourable mentions that I might bore you with later

Add to my list\;

Macho Man & Elizabeth's reunion
Ric Flair 1992 Royal Rumble
Shawn achieves his boyhood dream
Wrestlemania X-Seven, just the whole feeling the event gave you

Hard pressed to choose between the six I've named tbh.

Enough of this though guys, talk about Barrett!

"In late 1993, Luger began a feud with another foreigner Ludvig Borga who disliked America because of pollution."

 I completely forgot about that.

So much controversy behind his surgically enhanced forearm.

Was a bone of contention in the lead up to Wrestlemania IX iirc.

Lol, poor Taker.

Btw best heel turn ever?

Up there obviously is Hogan at Bash at the Beach 1996.

But I reckon Jonathan Coachman at SummerSlam 2003 comes close

Austin at Mania X-Seven is the obvious one.

Triple H in late 2000 as well, he had just started getting cheers then, bang, more hated than ever

Apparently various wrestling websites have been publishing stories suggesting that the Undertaker has actually died in real life.
