Anderson looks exactly what he is,a guy who hasn't played any cricket for nearly a month.Bresnan has been poor.

Why go in with only 4 bowlers, not as though we needed 6 bats?

I actually cannot stand watching Tim Bresnan bowl. Don't like the way he runs in, don't like his bowling action and he does nothing exceptional with the ball bar the odd one or two good deliveries, it's just all so ugly to watch. I'm certainly not relishing the prospect of seeing Anderson and Bresnan opening up in Australia if they continue to bowl like this. I'd hope we find an alternative to Bresnan by then. I'm praying that either Finn starts bowling beautifully, or that either Onions or Jones make a speedy recovery. I do not want to see Bresnan in Australia, he just isn't good enough.

No one getting close to the stumps. Terrible. Swann gonna have to take 19fer i think.

4 bowlers is not the problem, bowling badly is the problem.

Pleased to see this anyway, we want a contest afterall.

Anderson, a swing bowler, bowling 40% of his deliveries short of a length just doesn't make sense. Even when he pitched it up he was only swinging it away. It's not been nice to watch.

Finn showing the other bowlers how to do it. Get it up there and take advantage of the movement. That last one was a beauty.

A series of action changes have made him a shadow of the penetrating swing bowler he was two years ago, but Shahadat has done superbly today. Sadly he hasn't got much in his armoury these days, so he's just been disciplined today and charged in over after over and he deserves these five wickets just for the heart he's shown.

Well done big fella.
This, through and through. Shads.

:-O Wow. Get that saved on ya Sky +, a Yorker bowled in a Test match. Not seen one of those for a long time. Finn's bowling nicely here. Glad to see Bresnan's finally been taken off, would have liked to have seen Swanneh on from the other end, instead of Anderson. Hopefully he'll pitch the thing up this time though; however, judging by the field and the first 2 deliveries I wouldn't bank on it.

Good reply from Bangladesh here, really annoyed about the run out of Iqbal though. Siddique has made a nice start to his innings aswell.

Jesus Christ. Who is behind this gameplan? Kayes and Siddique are playing the short delivery well. They've had more trouble with Finn, the one pitching the thing up, so what does Anderson do? Yeah, that's right, bowls an over of half trackers. Genius. Get Swann on FFS.

This has been a fantastic over from Finn. Been generally pitching the ball up, getting it to move away from Kayes, and then he bowls the short ball as a surprise delivery and it gets the wicket. Excellent stuff from Finn. He's been easily the pick of the bowlers thus far.

There has to be some kind of ulterior motive as Nass is supposing.

I still think that's remarkably sympathetic. This is moronic.

Finn looks a different proposition from his preferred end.Is it any coincidence that he has looked the pick of the pace bowlers as he is the one who has actually been playing first class cricket for the last few weeks.

Poor day from England this really. Bowling short when the only thing in the pitch is swing is fairly moronic. Bresnan not looking Test-class, at least Finn has shown summat, and KP has sudennly turned into Jonty Rhodes in the field.

Anyway, I've actually enjoyed the Bangas showing up a bit, really thought this could be over very early. Shame Tamim couldn't go on, but with much of their better batsmen being down the order they should be getting up to around 400.

pitch is flat? Tamim notwithstanding, particularly because Ban are already about 150 and their batting core is yet to come?
