Yeah, bowled well, must make a nice change from the pitches he has to bowl on at home.

Sure he would appreciate and beneift from a spell in county cricket.

Just wish he would not grunt so much

A series of action changes have made him a shadow of the penetrating swing bowler he was two years ago, but Shahadat has done superbly today. Sadly he hasn't got much in his armoury these days, so he's just been disciplined today and charged in over after over and he deserves these five wickets just for the heart he's shown.

Well done big fella.

Has Jimmy lost the in-swinger to the left hander? I think it'd be such a dangerous weapon if he mixed in the in and out-swingers. I've not seen him bowl the in-swinger to the lefty for a long time. It's a shame really, as just bowling the out-swinger makes him pretty one dimensional. Get it moving back in Jimmeh!

Have to say, this has been some pretty poor bowling from England. Banging the new ball in half way down not really making any attempt to swing the thing. Jimmy's been bowling exclusively away from the left-handers and again has been bowling far too short. It's like they're getting carried away bowling on a fairly quick, bouncy wicket. Pitch it up and get it swinging ffs.

Helped by some dreadful bowling from Bresnan TBH. Not afraid to play his shots though Tamim, very exciting batsman to watch. Just wish we'd start bowling properly. Bresnan better not get another over.

England should be disappointed that they could only muster 500. The wicket is so flat. Swann should take the majority of the wickets.

Why's he laying into Finn? I'd say he's been the pick of the seamers, bowled a generally better length than the other 2 anyway.

Not moving the ball an inch according to Boycott. Boycott's brother apparently wouldn't be afraid of Finn and Geoffrey's Mum would be scoring freely against him. :laugh:

WAC. Sure he's loving this bowling from Bresnan though. The Yorkshireman's doing him proud; been a fine spell of fast bowling from Big Tim......

I miss Broad and Onions :(
