give the french to nadal and be done with it...the men's singles result a foregone conclusion...
Agree that Nadal's the one to beat. On the other hand, I don't like the women's draw. It's extremely top-heavy.

I'm tipping a few surprises, especially with Kuznetsova, Dementieva, Wozniaki et al looking rather unconvincing of late.

The bottom half could potentially have a bolter. Unlike the men, there's no real stand out or favourite, and it's difficult to gauge on form.

Though one shouldn't underestimate the capriciousness that personifies Roland Garros more than any other slam.

Must admit I had to Google 'capriciousness'.

David Ferrer is my tip to win the French, he'll beat Nadal in the semi and will be too good for Tommy Robredo in the all Spanish final.

Aravene Razai to win the women's in a huge win against Jelena Jankovic in the final.

Form is temporary, class is permanent, lol nah I just plucked a seeded European who's name wasn't Federer or Nadal.

Some interesting bets on Sportingbet, it's $2.85 on anyone other than Rafa to win the title.

That would be great. She's an Auckland regular and has played sensational tennis at times here.

Golly, Soderling won that first set easily enough. Twenty minutes. One of the least competitive sets I've ever seen.

I hope Soder fixes up his form. He's been woeful lately. Hopefully just been getting some tennis under his belt for Roland Garros.

Love watching him play.

Daniel Brands is awesome. Really giving Tsonga a scare here. Was up a break in the fifth but was broken back straight away.

Not sure if he can get over the line, but he's putting in a tremendous performance.

Come on Gasquet! Had a shocker of a start on my French Open betting. Could use this one.
Gasquet is really weak-as-piss, hope you put a saver on, I got Murray at 7.6, great comeback by Murray, but like Wimbledon a few years ago, Richard has let him back in it somewhat.
