Hmmm, in 3 second XI championship games Cross has made 104, 60 (out of 127 all out), 71 (out of 231 all out) & 106...surely Moores needs to give him a chance?

(FTR in OD games he has made 84, 55 & 98 in the games he has played)

Cricketer Of The Year
Essex 218-8 (40.0 overs)
The Netherlands 141-3 after 29.1 overs
B Zuiderent 32* ES Szwarczynski 64*
so need 78 from 11 overs...

Apparently Lou Vincent becomes England qualified on July 1st. Would expect a county to take a chance on him surely? Any places more likely than others?

Cricketer Of The Year
End of over 34 (10 runs) The Netherlands 177-3
B Zuiderent 55* ES Szwarczynski 74*

still 7 wickets in hand!

Yeah, could understand it if wickets were falling but until the last ball run-out, they had two guys pretty well set.

Didn't see much of the Glamorgan innings but Tremlett seems to have made a promising start, if maybe not back to top pace. Surrey will be using him carefully for a while though I imagine.

Surrey making rather heavy weather of a not too challenging target ... it always looks a lot harder when Ramps goes.

Epic choke from the Dutch there. 8 scored from the last 11 balls to lose by 1 run.
I was at the VRA ground in Amstelveen yesterday, playing an English team, having 5 wickets in hand, needing 6 runs in the last over. And we made it. Too bad it all happened on the 2nd field...

Not trying to run on just every ball, if you have as many wickets as balls, is piss poor crap cricket.

Not sure if this is the right thread for it or not, but seeing as there's no English teams going to take part in the "Champions League" because of the clash with the end of the domestic season, what will happen about the players that played for T20 sides that have qualified?

Made perfect sense with them going like they are.

Carberry just loves playing aganinst Warwickshire.

Tremlett bowling better than I have seen for a long while, wish him well. If he could by some miracle stay fit and bowl well the whole season I would definetly take him to Australia.
