Who cares if he doesn't take wickets? Look at that economy rate. An economy rate of 4 is worth its weight in gold in T20, even if he doesn't take wickets.
It's not winning you matches. Economy doesn't. Wickets do. Batting sides have piled up huge scores against India due to lack of wickets. Even if he's got a decent economy, the other bloke is smashed around.

It's hardly his fault if the other bowlers are crap, though. He's doing his job, and he's doing it bloody well.

As I had said this before (during some series), looking at Ind's strategy and tactics in general, I wouldn't mind if Dhoni and Gary resign .... But they can counter as they are only as good as the team and what can they do if players mess up :p

Bowlers are in the team to take wickets, not see off overs. Being a strike bowler, he has to take wickets regularly, but he hasn't taken one yet. He's no better than the other bowlers, at the end of the innings.

Very important last 2 overs here. If we can keep them under 170 we're in with a good shout.

That is because the opposition knows playing him for 15 - 20 runs without giving wickets is worth than going after him and losing wickets. Put him in the Aussie team, and see how he'll perform with enough support.
