No, but you can trade for a ready-made one. Seaby and Mumford seem to be going OK and Sydney didn't have to give up the Earth to get either. Hell, even just a first-rounder got Jolly going the other way. If you take a bloke wanting a fresh start you can do pretty well.

To be frank, and this is probably a controversial opinion these days, but I think rucking is pretty over-rated in this day and age. At any rate it's certainly less important than it used to be; teams can concede that they can't beat a certain bloke and if their midfield is good enough, commit to sharking the taps instead. Many teams do this against Sandilands and Cox/Naitanui, and when they're good enough the rucks may as well not be there.
Mate, as someone who was at the ground in the 07 Prelim between Geelong and Collingwood - trust me, having at least one genuinely competitive ruckman is a necessity to be a good team.

Getting pumped for the big game as it approaches.

I rekon we might actually rise to the occasion and pinch this one.

Reimers is my tip for the ANZAC MEDAL.

Monfries, Stanton and Mcveigh back hopefully.

I have a confession to make.

Simon Black is one of my role models. Just his consistency, his dependability his clean-living.

Both on and off the field, he's just so bankable; so likeable.

Reckon you probably will - it's shaping as your pseudo-Grand Final for the year. Always seems that you pricks knock us off on Anzac Day, no matter the overall form of the two teams.

Still, this year, I'll say that making the 8 > winning Anzac Day. And heap **** on you if we win.

Essendon are worse than last year, Collingwood are about the same or better.

It'd take a choke from the Pies to lose.

I don't think we're better than last year at the moment. Essendon are much worse IMO. But whether its that we choke, which seems unlikely given we played well in a stack of other big games, or that Essendon have tended to play above themselves against us on Anzac Day, I'm thinking the Dons will win.

Hey, don't worry, you guys get your traditional big end of year match against Melbourne to see who gets No.1 draft picks...

It is about time Anzac Day actually involves two teams who are good. Always when you play one of you are rubbish.

Same with Queens Birthday and opening round. Rich vs. Carl was **** this year and last year.

Queen's Birthday's gone isn't it?

edit: no, it's still on. Just one of those funny things in the fixture now where we play the same team twice within 10 weeks.

Because Ess vs Collingwood hasn't produced some absolute ripping contests?

Zaharakis! Zaharakis! Has kicked a goal! The bombers are in front at the G!

Was the best feeling ever and the ground atmosphere was like nothing I've ever experienced and I've been to GF's.

You know what was a close match last year? Richmond vs. Melbourne, with a goal after the siren deciding the match.

Obviously there have been some great Anzac Day matches. There have been some shockers, like 2008.

And why can't another player have the chance of experiencing that? Not like Saints vs. Hawks or Cats vs. Hawks wouldn't draw such a crowd.

So can we cast a suspicious eye towards St Kilda since Waldron was their former CEO, and his apparent love of creative accounting?

Think the AFL are looking in to it again, Don't expect anything to happen tbh, think he was CEO when they were gash.
