Torres out for the rest of the season.

Will cry if I see Ngog playing as a lone striker in three hours time.

Relegation for the Greens that has been inevitable since August was finally confirmed tonight. Someone at the club decided that if Newcastle won the title tonight it would be a good idea to help their travelling fans celebrate. As our pile of excrement that masquerades as a football team were leaving the pitch at the end "We are the Champions" was played over the tannoy.

Benitez will have a €80m warchest if he goes to Juventus according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
Expect around half to go on perpetual substitutes. About 20m to go on random foreigners who nobody has ever heard of, before or after. Then for the clueless clown to whinge about lack of transfer funds and finish trophyless barring a fluke.

Trust me, Benitez won't get as much lee way with the Juventus board if they are not up to scratch, unlike at Liverpool. They had no problem firing Ciro Ferrara, a former player at the club (no different if Roy Keane were to one day manage Manchester United, that similar type of example). Dirk Kuyt's name has been thrown about as well.
