Know you're kidding, but he's had an awful season.
Bar the beginning, which frankly there were many injuries and defensive line-up changes, he's been pretty good actually. Not the Carra from a couple years ago but good enough to start for Pool.

But yes, let's have Joe Hart please, or the lad from Brentford back, getting fed up with the two we have currently.
Sell Almunia and Fabianksi for £4 and a packet of polos. Hart as #1 and Szczczczczczczczny on the bench.

Think we should declare no winner this season, no one deserves it.
Tbh, was debating last night whether Chelsea would be the worst champs in eons

IMO, they havent improved - an argument could actually be mounted as to why they are worse than last year

It's just that the comp at the top has declined whilst others further down the table have improved leaving a totally unpredictable league

Been so bad, Sotirios Kyrgiakos has looked half decent.

A heap of quotes from Arsene regarding transfers:

"I think we can overcome [Chelsea]," he said. "For a while we were not investing maybe because we had built the stadium but I think our financial situation is now becoming much stronger and we will be capable to buy the players we need to buy.

We will announce the deals after the league. He(Chamakh) is one of the players who has a good chance to join us.

There's more but those are two which stood out most. Proof will be in the pudding and all that though. No excuses now, hopefully we can get it all done before the World Cup. It's the final season on his contract, he might actually be under some pressure to stop fannying about now.

Well for me, with the exception of you ending up being defeated by virtue of something totally beyond your control, or being cheated or something, if you win you deserve it, and if you deserve to win you will.
Never been convinced by this at all.

I can accept that if you create twenty clear cut chances and miss them all then you do not deserve to win but what I cannot agree with is that the side they are playing against who win 1-0 from a goalkeeping howler actually deserve to win the game.

There is such thing as luck in sport you know.

Pretty sure he is the worst Brazillian footballer ever. And by that I mean out of all the Brazillian people there are, he is the worst, not just footballers.
Not even close. He gets far too much stick for not being Xabi Alonso but is amongst the most successful passers and tacklers in the league. He is Mascherano-lite. He will be a very good squad player for us, but I don't believe he'll ever be a starter.

Soto himself looked awful in the beginning and looked better only later on. He's only played a handful of games anyway. Daft comparison.
