The Murali and Lock combination have been devastating, specially in home conditions I reckon. Shared 18 wickets between them in that last game. Good stuff.

Nice to see two of my players, Barry Richards and Lohmann, in the top three for the batting and bowling averages; just a shame that hasn't correlated into more success so far as we sit mid-table!

Hey Marc, just a small request. When you do the table can you put it in a post after the next lot of results if possible rather than at the top of the scorecards?

Sure thing - I attach them all first but then didn't think that the attachments come at the end of the post!

Whatever it takes!!!
Damn.. ripped apart by Ambrose.. Crucial knock by Punter as well.

On the positive side, Wasim getting into form and innings held together in the first dig by Hooper, Dhoni and Kapali, the less heralded of my side.. :)

Yeah 9/54 in the second innings by Ambrose. That would have been one hell of a spell to watch I reckon.

Well my bowlers are not paying off, which is surprising. I knew batting would not be as good.
Well, the bowlers can't win games on their own. They can maybe win some, but not all. I'd say the last match is a good testament to that. They bowled out the opposition for 170 odd in the first innings and then got taken apart by Border, Richards and Sobers. No shame in getting beaten by batsman of that calibre. McGrath, Imran and Miller are good, but not invincible, although McGrath by himself certainly stakes a strong claim.

Graeme Smith has been simply epic for my side. I don't believe it is a true reflection of how Smith would handle such high quality bowling sides though.

Blakus

State Vice-Captain
Key to my success so far has been my bowling attack. Barnes has been immense, but all the others have put in star performances as well.

Kinda drives a nail through the whole "bowlers > batsmen" crap.. And I am loving these results for that alone..

I have got a bowling line up to die for too, but look where my team is in the standings. :)

bowling went alright and Wasim again leading the way but the batting leaving a lot to be desired. Hope we can turn it around to at least finish in mid-table. :(

Well it is a bit congested to be fair - 4th to 12th separated by 8 points and some teams still have the Bradman bonus game!
