I'd wager Vettori would be a much better fieldsman than someone like Mishra. I counted about 3 instances last night where he was woeful, and that was just the one match. There was the dropped catch, misfield to concede a boundary off Viru's bowling, and the near-collision with Gauti in the first over.

But Mishra isn't a non-Indian international so direct comparisons are a bit of a moot point.

Seriously? Did Punjab drop Barath again for no reason? It's a massive shame, if he's going to be treated like that he should be in the West Indies practicing with Shiv and Ronnie.

Kings XI Punjab really are pathetic.

So Deccan got rid of Styris and brought this no name Mitchell Marsh who has only played 4 games?

Really? What spectacular thing has he done so far? Averages 21 with strike rate of 100 is nothing great.

Radha from Canada suggests: " If a bowler bowls a maiden over, he should be allowed to bowl another over. When you penalize a no-ball, why not reward a maiden over?"
Interesting strategy potential.

Ahhhh he took 1-27 off 4!!!!!!!

Look down the other end and you'll find the bowler who's responsible for getting their eye in 8-)

He has played 3 matches, and the only time he opened the batting he made 33 (27) before being given out to a horrible lbw decision. In the next game they moved him back down the order so that Irfan Pathan could open (who then scored a very slow 15 runs as a 'pinch hitter'), Barath came in and got 1 not out.

He was then dropped. Do you not see that as very odd?

 18 runs in his final over.

Vaas dropped for exactly similar reason despite doing much better in the initial overs mate.

Fair enough. Marsh has performed only worse.
