Yeah Sir Alex getting tired of your baiting posts. I'm ignoring them but others can't, so just stop being a dick.

Hayden's due a coaching career.
Could do. IPL3 was the one where he'd want to produce his best in order to land another contract. His heroics in the first two with his plus-50 average seem further and further away.

It will be interesting to see how/whether the then-recently retired drawcards in IPL1 like Gilchrist and Hayden factor into IPL4.

I think retired guys are going to have to play more twenty20 throughout the year to justify their spots. You can't have a 10 month off-season and expect to do much good anymore. Should try playing Big Bash or domestic England, Saffie cricket to stay in touch and I think Delhi realised this fact first with not selecting McGrath, it's just too much of a risk and will get harder every year away from the game for the oldies.

I'll be very surprised if Chennai don't retain Hayden. I can see Symonds and Boucher being let go, the latter because RCB don't really need him. Gilchrist and Warne will be retained too most probably. Jayasuriya will definitely not get a gig next time.

Thing is Jayasuriya has been the most pragmatic out of the lot of them (those not playing internationally), playing as much T20 as he can to make sure he's in form. Hasn't served him all that well in IPL3, tbf.

Oh dear such a strong batting lineup on paper done in by quality pace first up and now this...

I seriously don't recall so many wickets falling in the first 10 overs. Even Kolkata picked themselves up a little bit earlier in the tournament after being 4/nothing.

So much pressure on the tail now just to get this to 100. The bigger picture is, though... CSK's net run rate is going to get smashed to pieces.

All a bit unnecessary the umpires going upstairs for that catch.

Oh and Colly seems to be particularly good at slip to spin bowlers.

No way Bollinger should have been brought on for a third successive over. He was a walking salt pan at the end of his second. Just let the man recharge his batteries at third man.
