Might be one of the first games where I actually stay around for the post-match gubbins. Could be quite interesting if KP's man of the match...

Yeah, I don't get the Rajasthan hate. They are underdogs with the least investment and their performance in IPL1 was a fairytale story. Obviously it's not going to happen everytime. I'd much rather see SRK and Mallya's playthings flop.

Haha, no. In a fairytale story, the likeable characters go on to win against all odds. RR weren't likeable, and benefitted from a couple of players hitting a purple patch.

Any team with Shane Watson will get automatic scorn. And if he performs, even moreso.

He's just easy to hate, that guy. Heck, I'm Australian and lost my **** every time he missed out on a test century over summer. Just take some solace in the knowledge that no matter how much you hate him or how badly/well he does, he goes home and macs Lee Furlong. So he wins either way.

I caught a glimpse of the Chennai game on Sat night and I noticed R. Ashwin bowling a wrong-un that looks very much like Mendis's carrom ball out of the hand. Can Ashwin bowl carrom balls too?

The commentators mentioned the term 'carrom' when they were replaying it. He has a very similar action to Mendis, where it looks like he's just pushing the ball towards the batsman with no overarm motion.

Thoughts on the Scrabble changes????
I had to talk to 3 different journalists over that one. I think I was quoted in the Daily Mirror. All it was was some trade show the owners of Scrabble had devised a gimmicky variant called Scrabble Trickster where if you turn over a card you can play words upside down or use proper nouns etc. Even Mattel aren't stupid enough to change the 'classic' game.

Yeah so glad to see that **** mouth Watson copping it back.

Warne proving that IPL 1 was fluke.
Or that he's 40 and retired from competitive cricket...

Nah, on reflection you're right. IPL 1 was a fluke from Warne, like those 700 test wickets.
