How runs many can we expect Phil Jaques to score? I expect him to cash in.

Fascinating start to the season.Good to see so many youngsters putting in solid performances.Taylor,Godleman,Finn,Harris and perhaps most encouragingly Briggs have all got off to good starts, long may they continue.

Surprised to see the good looking Warwickshire batting line up fail so spectacularly against a pretty ordinary Yorkshire side not that i am complaining.Just need to bat properly today to get the win set up.

Maybe not but Westwood,Chopra,Bell,Trott,Troughton and Ambrose is much stronger than the Yorkshire top 6 and it failed miserably.

Luke Wright bowling first change, Rashid batting below Bresnan and Middlesex 91/6 against Worcestershire's army of hacks.

Middlesex seem to have come up with a novel idea of virtually playing with no batsmen though, it must be said.

Finn in the wickets again.

Donkey Panesar regaining some form - rediscovering his knack of taking cheap tailend wickets.

Jeez, Carberry batted nearly an hour for 3 runs?
Rashid and Shazhad did well to get Yorkshire a decent lead, hoping for big scores from Bell and Trott though.
Finn  and Jaques out to O'Brien in the 40s again.

Make that 11!

4 of his wickets in the Worcester second innings are bowled which sounds promising..

And with Strauss in the slips, he's not doing his international aspirations much harm!

Like the 'epic fail' style photo on Cricinfo featuring Solanki's nice forward defence showing the full face of the bat, with the middle stump missing.

Amazing stuff from Finn. 9 in the innings and 14 for the match.

And a good fightback today from Sussex, building a decent lead over Glamorgan with 2 days to go (to the predictable sound of bitching emanating from the minor counties about Panesar's 3-20).

Anybody know where Berg was fielding?
4 bowled, 3 LBW and one caught in the slips (possibly two depending on where Berg was fielding).
That's an absolutely fantastic effort.

Thanks to Finn, Middlesex have a chance in this match now.
