*Official* Indian Premier League 2010

International Regular
Mendis needs to perform tonight to justify squeezing out Bond.

Slip a fit Nannes into the DD side in lieu of Maharoof and that is a unit.

International Captain
Annoyed I missed Lumb's innings. Knew I was right to back him at the start of the IPL when he was getting slagged off for just being Warne's mate. Looking forward to seeing how Lumb and Kieswetter go at the top of the order for England. Easily the most exciting opening partnership we've had for a long time.

Mathews blasted another good score. He sores when he has time to settle. Should play at #4 for KKR

Manee

Cricketer Of The Year
A fantastic few balls from Dinda, completely worked over Warner with some quick swing bowling.

The Wheel is Forever
Coming into this thread only because a little birdie text messaged me that Ganguly just ran someone out with a direct hit? (!!)

Run out by Ganguly has got to be one of the biggest embarrassment in sports, right behind getting hit for six by Chris Martin.

Dissector

International Debutant
I was puzzled by this as well. I am guessing it's because he hasn't had time to adjust to Indian conditions and TT cricket yet. Maharoof and Bhatia have roughly similar TT records to him so perhaps they thought it would be better to send them first.

Mendis did well.

KKR needs to drop Saha and give McCullum the gloves. Then they can draft in Karthik or Bond.

My KKR XI would be
Ganguly*, Gayle, McCullum+, Mathews, Tiwary, Pujara, Agakar, Abdulla / Shukla, Dinda, Bond / Mendis.

KKR not utilizing Mathews well. Easily the best batsman after Gayle and Ganguly in the side.

Kartik is their best bowler, however he is injured. Hard to choose between a Bond and a Mendis in this bowling form.
