Oh, and not a red card for Henry for me. Yes foul from behind, but i dont even think his foot touched him, pulled up but caught him with his knee, looked worse than it was, possibly thanks to Rosicky rolling about like hell. Booking yes, off no.
Um, you must have missed when they took the shin guard off and showed the nasty red lump on Rosicky's calf afterwards. A lot of contact there and a potential breaker no doubt.

Rooney is considered a 40% chance of playing against Bayern. Would you take that much a risk for the CL, and potentially missing him for the rest of the season (and potentially no EPL title as a result)? I know SAF doesn't give a **** about England and the WC, not just for the fact that he is Scottish, but even if he were English, it wouldn't be his job to worry about England.

In other news SSN are reporting Song's out of the QF 2nd leg. Great! Gets better and better.

We're a couple of knocks from Wenger naming himself and Pat Rice on the bench.

Norwood's on Fire
Haha, that wasn't available for me to predict, should have waited a couple of minutes for it to finish

'Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti seeks to increase the pressure on title rivals Manchester United by claiming they are weaker without striker Wayne Rooney.'

Well done Carlo for coming up with that obvious little gem.

Lol.

What's more amazing is that yer meedja consider this sort of bland inanity, which is pretty much only able to be answered with "No ****, Sherlock?", worth reporting.

In tomorrow's edition Pep Guardiola claims Arsenal's chances "minorly inconvenienced" by having half the first team injured and an ursine mammal admits to occasionally evacuating its bowels in wooded areas.

Good point. Unbeaten in... actually, can't remember that anymore. 7? Wonder when we last did that...

EDIT: End of last season, obviously.

Hmmm, tough call in the summer, which do Real prize away from Anfield, Benitez or Gerrard, reckon one or the other will end up there, definately not both, esp after that.

True I missed that, and yes there was contact, though in fairness to the defender he tried not to make contact. However do have to take consideration of the fact Rosicky's legs are made out of paper mache.

this is how the league that matters will finish
Leeds to go on a good run then? Predicting/praying they miss the play offs :)

Colchester are too cack for that, I fear. Norwich + 1 other (backing Millwall but Swindon or Leeds well in it), then Huddersfield and Charlton make up the playoffs: hopefully secured before we have to play Huddersfield on the last day.

At the other end, Southend are starting to lose touch with the pack: making it Southend + Wycombe + Stockport plus one from Tranmere, Gillingham, Orient, Exeter, Hartlepool, Yeovil and Oldham.
