*Official* Australia in New Zealand

There is no foreseeable way that New Zealand can lose from here
Nah, no way would this mighty Australian team lose to such a weak New Zealand team. New Zealand to be skittled for 150ish, Aussie to score 300+ in the 3rd innings, then NZ all out for 200 chasing 350+. It won't even make it into the 5th day.

Hah!

I'm staying up all night defining modernism, appropriation, canon and nationalism and it's relation to New Zealand art before analysing two paintings and their importance in New Zealand art history for an assignment, so I can watch the cricket without anything hanging over my head.

Out of interest, how much money do you have on the line here? :p
Haha Craig, you know me pretty damn well.

I don't actually have money on an Australian win, just will lose money if NZ win.

But even so, I just feel NZ will take this.

Also, love people making predictions after day 1 and only 1 fulll innings. How you can say 'can't see New Zealand not winning from here', or the bookies having NZ ahead of Aus, is beyond me, considering our form in the longer format and our notorious top order woes.

I mean, it's one thing to be optimistic about our chances, but you have to throw some realism in there somewhere.

Didn't see a lot wrong with Ponting's run-out, tbh. Was a tight run, definitely not suicidal and relied on a direct hit. Tend to think Ponting looking to hustle his singles is more a factor in his run-out stats than being slow.

patel bowled quite well today imo. the ball he got clarke with was a classic off spinner- drifted away and dipped on clarke who ended up hitting it in the air. vettori bowled well as well.

southee is the next fast bowling superstar!!!

Well done New Zealand. Can absolute guarantee that they will fail to pass Australia's total in exactly one of their innings though.

Surely you can't put that dismissal down to anything but a loose shot? Hardly great bowling.

Wicket is a road. New Zealand should be looking at 400+. Need it as the chances of Aus failing twice are very slim.

Nooo, Sinclair :(

Had a feeling that was going to happen after the commentators were talking about how much he's changed.
