Soooooo glad I went today, the best day of test cricket I've ever been too. It was a shame Williamson didn't make his debut but seeing Southee perform that well was a treat.

Best day of cricket? Reading through cricinfo commentary it seems the aussies gave away most of their wickets. What was it about Southee's performance which you thought was so good?

Well there was certainly a great atmosphere watching on tv, so I can imagine what it was like being there live, especially late in the day.

He was consistant the whole day, from start to finish. Deserved a five wicket haul IMO.

Our important wickets were certainly gifts. NZ bowled well, but even so, we should've done better then that...
