Can't believe how many caps Martin has. Rubbish bowler who costs the team on average of 15-20 runs per innings with the bat when compared with even a standard number 10. Difference between a total Australia could potentially choke chasing down and one that's a formality.

Sounds like Hughes is playing a blinder atm, gutted we don't get to see the series here in the UK. Strange too, as we normally get both the Aus and NZ home Test series, we got stuck with WI-Zimbabwe this year though =/. I know what I'd rather watch.

Pffft, as if. The field's real attacking to begin with so you just have to push it past the bowler and your've got three, but Hughes has already been beaten three or four times, nicked a couple through the slips, cut in half by Arnel twice and then dropped at second slip.

He's obvs a talent given the amount of runs he's scored in FC cricket, but from what I've seen of him since the Ashes he doesn't look like a test match opener.

Cricinfo reckons Tuffey has broken his hand and is out for a few weeks. Please please please don't let us play Patel in Hamilton. I don't care what crappy seamer they pick...just not Patel!

Hughes already looks like he is going to be one of those players that will divide opinion throughout his career, sure there will be many a thread in 15 years time debating his greatness or otherwise. Have no doubt that debate will happen though which means he will get a lot of runs.
