I'd replace lambert with keen.
Aaron bird looks like it could be the end.
Think ****ley and cameron signed on for the next few seasons.
Brakken only good for one dayers and t20 now same with lee.
If anyone goes it will be brakken tho.
Obviously nsw want clark even as captain, but don't let him play one dayers.
I think nsw should do what they can retain thornley, his grade numbers not so good.
Release casson, bank on o'keefe and the youngsters.
Give nic maddison a contract.
Move on from warner probably wants too much from the selectors and money wise.
Just out of curiousity, do you play 2nd grade for Sutherland?

Nah lol long past playing cricket.
Heard tassie in the market for players, the coach said some players may leave for opportunity i gather thats birt and denton.
Good fightback by the vics.
BTW would have kawajah always first in a first side, ultimate performer.

Note to Queensland: Our wicketkeeper is just as good with the bat as your own.

Fantastic Shield final this is shaping up to be. Nice to see the contest between bat and ball. Far better than Victoria finishing th day at 2/350.

Risky move picking Boyce, hopefully it pays off in the third innings.

I see George is going to NZ with the Australian team, I wonder if Hastings and/or Cutting would have made it if they weren't playing the Shield final.

Despite Victoria clearly winning the last session, to take 9 wickets on the first day when you have to win outright really puts QLD in a good position. With 4 Days to go there is plenty of time to pile on the runs and get another 10 wickets. A lot will rely on our flimsy batting though.

Doubt it. The side injury has been apparent since the end of the ODI series. Surely If they wanted Cutting, he'd have been called over days ago, Shield Final or not.

I reckon there's a decent chance that the selectors weren't too bothered between the two though, or were possibly even split, and hence just called over the guy who wasn't busy.

With warner likely to leave, wonder what chances of aileen beadle and tim cruikshanks getting a contract both been in good form, david dawson from tassie as well.

So, as I've been saying all along, Shield finals are alive and well and I can't believe there were people in this thread saying they should be scrapped.

Well done by Broad to survive until 82. Having not watched a ball, I have been told he played and missed somewhere between 15 to 20 times.
