Bierhoff-esque at the moment. Delectable ball in from the Neviller too. All going to plan so far, more of the same in the second half please.

Haha, well done Man Utd. Milan have been incredibly ordinary though, English teams may as well have been given a bye this round it seems.

Yeah, as a pisstake, got the biggest cheer an away player ever has. Then straight away boo'ed. Sense of humour us northerners ;)

Don't forget the chants of Fergie, sign him up.

Well, tidy performance there. OK Milan not the team that won it a few years ago, but still some decent players there, and the goals were down to good work by us, not gifts. Got the goals when it mattered to kill the tie.

Ha ha yeah, really pleased with that performance and result but Milan amazingly toothless - I was genuinely expecting a lot more from them tonight. Park excellent yet again, and I'm starting to get a bit of a man-crush on Valencia, just a superb player. Great to see the reception for Becks too.

Cristiano hopefully regretting his decision right about now.

Heard someone call him Klaas Jan Bendtner this morning. Heh, Nick is a better player than this donkey. Do not want.

Hate Sky's "what a shock result", "amazing night for Lyon','who would of predicted this', Madrid have been dumped out at this stage 5 times previously FFS, do your research.

He used to be a pretty average footballer who could finish, and now it seems he's lost the finishing. There's a reason that even turning 27 this year he's still only a bit-part player for Holland and still behind Kuyt in the pecking order.

Xabi Alonso will probably be happy enough though - if he'd stayed where he was he wouldn't have even got this far.
 Quality.
