*Official* England in Bangladesh

Really good slog sweep from Cook there for a maximum. It's a shot he's added to his armoury to combat the spinners, and he plays it very well, sweet connection.

Woah, Cookeh just hit a 6. Don't see that often, maybe he really has upped his game in OD cricket.

Oh brilliant. Cook gone now. Reliant on Prior and Morgan. Bangladesh beat England for the first time then.

Big wicket for Bangladesh, Cook gone for a very well played 60. Very fortunate snaffle from Mushfiqur, but advantage Bangladesh. Prior next. We do bat all the way down to eleven, but need one of the top 6 to bat most of the rest of the innings.

Cook getting out cheaply after bringing up 50 shocker.

KP in ****house scratchy innings shocker.

New over-rated player who's not good enough doing sweet FA shocker.

This team is so reliant on Collingwood to stay in or Morgan to hit a cameo it's unreal.

Typically upbeat.

Kind of want Bangladesh to win this always want them to do well and I don't really want to see Prior and Luke Wright winning in England an ODI, would be more tolerable in Morgan does it but am always very aware that he should not be playing for us.

Not exactl a fan of Scaly's cynicism, but not much to be upbeat about atm to be fair.

You could be upbeat that England are still in this game thanks to luck and the umpires, but then the reality is they're getting outplayed by Bangladesh. Feeble.

Good on the umpires for giving these lads a chance to bat. It's so unfair to be given out LBW. :(

In this particular situation, maybe there is not plenty of reasons to be upbeat, but such negativity seems to be around regardless of situation, hence a degree of sarcasm in my response.

Still think we can do this.

Disagree. I think Kieswetter is good enough, and has a good OD record, both at Taunton and away from home too. He did enough to get picked, and deserves to be in the side. Out-performed Davies in every Lions game they played together and then made 140 in his England debut. Would have been harsh not to pick him after that effort.

We're lucky these umpires are incompetent. Morgan's been out twice, and Prior should have definitely been given.

Kieswetter was dropped countless times in each of his significant England innings.

I mean seriously I'd sooner have Ian Bell in the OD side than him.

Absolutely, a couple of LBW decisions could quite conceivably have gone the way of Bangladesh. They didn't, and I'm sure we've had our own fair share of disppointing decisions go against us in the recent past.

Being outplayed ? Not sure I'd say that just yet. It's advantage Bangladesh but a lot of time to go yet.

Shuvo comes on now, haha. From all I've heard he's a very confident young man, power to you son, win this game for your country!

Man, England have had the umpiring go their way and they're still in a bit of trouble.

All England really need to do is see off Shakib and Razzak and they'll be well on the way. I know it's part of cricket but I'm ****ing filthy about the umpiring.

Shot Prior.

Morgan the key here. If Bangladesh can snaffle him up... they could be home.
