Yes don't think too much of the blame can lie at WI door. They performed adequately enough in comparison to their opposition. I think that kind of bowling performance may have gone round the park, certainly more than today, against a half-decent side.Yeah the Zimbabweans were poor but I don't see what the West Indies did wrong apart from one awful over from Rampaul.
Overly negative tripe from Stewart IMHO.
It's not conducive to T20 cricket, where boundaries and cartwheeling stumps are the order of the day. Zimbabwe fielding has been comical at times, if these guys make up the majority of a would-be Test side, then it'll be a good few years in waiting. I am just judging off this one game, so perhaps a tad unfair.I hate pitches like this. It encourages bad cricket like ordinary finger spin and medium paced dobbers.
We have far too many of them in the Caribbean.
20/20 World Cup is going to be awful. Might see 16+ overs of spin from the likes of Bangladesh and Zimbabwe.I hate pitches like this. It encourages bad cricket like ordinary finger spin and medium paced dobbers.

Well Pollard out now. It's not conducive to T20 cricket, where boundaries and cartwheeling stumps are the order of the day. WI should not make a game of this, if Pollard gets going it could be over in the blink of an eye.
I wouldn't disagree with that but this pitch is turning a huge amount and young Bravo got a half tracker that kept incredibly low.Don't these Trinidadian batsmen know how to bat on Trini pitches?
The young brigade of Barath, Fletcher, Pollard and Darren Bravo still have a lot to learn....
