Terry had his hand out and Bridge very deliberately went straight past to next player in line. My sympathies were initially with Bridge, but his toy chucking is a wee bit childish for a bloke of his age.

BBC :

1245: BRIDGE AND TERRY DID NOT SHAKE HANDS
Terry had his hand out, but Bridge looked in his eyes and walked straight past. DRAMA!
Did it really need it's own announcement and graphic?

Norwood's on Fire
Haha, brilliant.

It is a bit childish, at the same time you couldn't accuse Bridge of being a hypocrite

As a country we secretly don't want to win the world cup, IMHO. Every WC year anything that can go wrong does.

Rooney will get rabies and have to be put down next.

Reckon a Rooney burnout is not out of the question itbt. Man Utd rely a hell of a lot on him and so do England. Man Utd's run in for the title is likely going to be pretty tense so he'll probably be going hell for leather each week, and as such, some sort of injury or burn out is not beyond doubt. And if he doesn't play at the WC, England are buggered, imho.

Murphy had a good tournament too.

Campbell & Baines the most likely bolters IMHO, although neither a clown, tbf.
A Rooney injury is certainly the best (only) chance of Owen making the squad, but I think most have given up on his career having a great world cup inspired revival but you never know.

Odds on one of Bridge or Terry scoring?
Hope not, just so we aren't subjected to the horrible commentary cliche of "YOU COULD NOT WRITE THIS SCRIPT" or some other rubbish.

Besdies, everyone knows that the real big game of the day is the late kick off.

Do these two teams want to be any more boring ffs? I'd have taken a 0-0 at the start but having to sit through one will be killer.

Haha, ah well, might go and watch it next time, imagine it will be a midweek job so that could be a decent night out.
Yes, will be a tuesday now I would have thought although we have plenty of other games to make up first.
