Shastri is such as a moron, his rationale for playing a third bowler is that "Dhoni has been losing the toss and thus has to plan for batting on first day more often than not...."

.... Never select a team with how the toss goes in mind. You should select a team that's has options to answer whatever challenges are thrown at them. In this case an option of 3 pacers, if made to bowl first and 2 spinners, if batting first so that they can come in to play at the later stage .... Also the potential of the extra bowler picking up 3-4 wkts is more mouth watering in a must win game than an extra batsman scoring 30-40 runs

Anyways I hope Ind manages to pull something out here
