Was playing club cricket in Jo'burg but I think he went back to Zim a couple years ago.

Interesting that Andy's good friend Mark Vermeulen is not part of the aforementioned 30 and hasn't played any domestic cricket for over 3 months.

Vermeulen actually got dropped from his domestic team; he's kicking around in the B League.

Ervine hasn't made himself available for national selection as it'd make him an overseas players for the purposes of county cricket. Even if he wanted to play, I think he's still technically bound by his Hampshire contract.

And yeah, Lamb's proven just how dire his selection as a frontline spinner in England was by taking just nine wickets in eleven Logan Cup games at an average of almost 60 this season. He's averaging 56 with the bat though, as you'd expect him to I suppose.

Zimbabwean provisional squads have always been very much wishful thinking. Players often decline the offer to play after being selected in them.
