Still would rather see how he goes in limited overs against the quicker men before we chuck him fully into the deep end.
I didn't mean we should throw him in straight away. More than his mindset maybe what is needed instead of this "bat time...just bat time" bull****. Yes, we need to bat longer periods, but I don't think playing unnaturally is the way to go about it. Ingram's attitude is the right one to have...play his natural game regardless of what bowlers he's coming up against.

I actualy reckon he's better at the long form because he can wait until its in his hitting zone.

Short stuff might give him trouble. front foot play should be fine though. like sehwag his technique is deceptive. Its not textbook perfect by any means but when he impacts with the ball he's in good positions and well balanced.

I hope Polo's backing of Pinga isn't a curse like his backing of Broom seemed to be. :p

Let him establish himself in Tests before we try ruin him in ODIs again. :ph34r:
He's in the ODI squad though...he sucked in ODI's then had one of his best domestic seasons ever. If anything, his ODI failures made him more determined. Legend.
