I dont need to accept that, since i was referring specifically to big match tickets which are never on sale. Rather than other match tickets which possibly may go on sale from time to time.
Though you did just mention several posts earlier that they did in fact go on sale to members.

No i didn't. If you read it that way you misinterpretend.

So one last time for all those concerned. Ticket prices @ OT for members when major matches come about ALWAYS go up - those big match tickets are never on sale. Thanks..

We're back to you being a complete moron and not understanding the English language.

Marc never suggested that they went on sale in the manner you're suggesting. What Marc suggested is that the tickets went on sale as in the moment in which people are able to buy them for the first time at face value from OT.

The fact you still haven't grasped this despite people telling you and then spouting a load of crap about how we don't understand how Man Utd work makes you frankly, an utter ******,

MY GOD, CW has hit a ditch. Let me pull this thing back to how it started when i was speaking with poster cpr:

He said
cpr said:
Yeah, those prices are probably for the cheapest available seats, which are going to be very rare for these games. Never paid over £38 for a ticket at home, only paid £200 for the full away day in Milan last year (though the Euro trips have been hiked up considerably in the last 18 months). Its like concert tickets, buy them straight away at a decent price, if not then the price skyrockets after a few days for whatever's still available.
I responded:

me said:
Yea. May have to go the City of Manchester stadium more often in future to see big games if with all this debt talk though..
Which was clear response to cpr post in which we where talking about the prices for the upcoming CL match vs Milan & Carling cup second-leg vs City where the prices for those big matches had gone up ridiculosuly high this year. Which with all the talk in this thread about United debt i was suggesting may have to go to City of Manchester stadium in the future if such high prices for big matches continues.

then marc said

quote said:
Or buy the tickets when they go on sale?
Which seemed to me that he was suggesting that big match prices @ OT go on sale as in a reduction in price - that is not true. If it is he was refering to the obvious that the tickets went on sale as in the moment in which people are able to buy them for the first time at face value from OT.

Then he along with all of you are the one's that have misinterpreted what i was speaking about all the time..

I like my apologies well wrapped & a nice chocolate on the side thanks..

How the **** have you still not understood correctly?! You've just gone through, looked at everything and still come out with '2 + 2 = 5'.

Suuuure, it's all us that have misunderstood. It couldn't possibly be you. Seriously, give yourself an uppercut.

Yes its all of you since i am talking abot:

- the sale of tickets as in the reduction/discount of prices i.e 100-50 = 50

- not a sale of tickets as in the simple Selling vs Buying.

Clear difference.

Yes, well done. Everything else you've said up until this point is irrelevant because Marc was talking about the latter whereas you've gone off talking a load of pointless crap about how OT don't reduce the price of tickets which had no relevance to anything anyone had said.

Dont give me no well done crap.

If marc was talking about the latter as you suggested he did, he indeed was wrong. Plus again as i said OLD TRAFFORD DOES NOT REDUCE THE PRICE OF TICKETS FOR MAJOR MATCHES SUCH A CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GAMES, THE SEASON OPENER GAMES VS MAJOR PREMIER LEAGUE OPPONENTS & OTHERS MAJOR GAMES DURING A SEASON, FOR ITS MEMBERS. THE PRICES ALWAYS GO UPPPPP!!!.

If when he made that comment he meant...'As a member i could purchase tickets (the tickets which prices increase rather than decrease via a price sale) for the major matches at OT, when its on sale. He would be correct, then i did indeed misinterpret him.

But If he rather meant ...."As a member i could get tickets for the major matches @ OT (when they are on sale) when they are available at a sale price". Then he, you & whoever else is wrong since tickets for major matches at OT are NEVER on sale @ a sale price. (to its members).

Hmm, yes they are though. My Father regulaly buys tickets at sale price when they go onsale. Premiership, European etc. Of course we dont put ticket prices down, on the grounds that we can always sell out bar early league cup games. However the point is its possible (wouldnt say easy) to get tickets for major games at far lower than the figures you originally quoted. Again i've never paid above £38 to go to a home game, Dad might've paid a bit more once or twice, but i'd doubt it. He'll go if he can pick up a ticket at a normal price.....

Fair enough. I am only arguing based on my experiences in which for major CL matches i attended for example the CL match vs Barcelona 08 & Real Madrid 03 i know i payed £120to get in & that was a jacked up price.

I too have never payed more than £38 to got to OT for a normal home game (since i always sit in the North stand), i just know that the price can go as high as £49 for an adult ticket for such games as well.

Still trying to work out how much of a stupid tosser you have to be to have not grasped this yet.

To go on sale means the tickets were not available to buy AT ALL and now they are for the first time.

To be on sale means the price of the tickets has been reduced from its original value.

**** me you're dense ****.
