YesHave the televised games had speed guns on the bowlers?
Hey that reminds me of something.Jimmy Neesham makes 47* off 20 balls.
Must admit that the name 'James Neesham' just sounds like a good NZ Cricketer.
Anyone cranking it?
I thought I had a Jimmy Neesham Appreciation Society thread, but in the search engine, it does not exist, unless it got deleted or merged into another thread.Hey that reminds me of something.
I watched abit of the Hong Kong bowling innings and there opener hit 130K which I found surprising tbh.Anyone cranking it?
Buck for England was continually bowling over 130km most of the time and think as high as 137km and the Hong Kong opeing bowler was getting upto 142km but had no accuracy.Anyone cranking it?
Andy Mohammed WAG ... Got them to 154.USA now 7/28. Hazlewood 3/12 and McDermott 4/10, both quality bowlers.
Fayyaz Butt seemed to get it up there, no spend gun thoughAnyone cranking it?
Thanks very much for the report, it's great to get the perspective of someone who was actually there. I agree that Braithwaite is going to be more effective in the longer forms of the game, but I get the impression his innings would have been match winning if any of the middle order had got going.Back from my journey to Palmy.
Watched the WI vs Pakistan game, The guy from Pakistani who scored the century didn't greatly impress me, however he was good at nurdling the the spinners around but tried to dab every other ball behind point, which almost cost him his wicket a couple of times.
Griffiths was awesome and was striking it so cleanly, however did give an opportunity early on which was slightly over the head of mid-wicket, but deep square leg called early and was never going to get there. Braithwaite was a real treat and really did look a class above, however he really is going to be more of a test specialist imo.
Overall the fielding was poor from both sides, lots of over throws from the west indies and the pakistanis almost looked afraid to catch the ball and when they weren't they made mistakes as mentioned above.
