Ta mate - with those two in, glad there's no Foxtel hereSA finished on 291 all out, while England are 57-3, with Cook & Colly at the crease.
DWTA. The best batsman in this match scored a ton. I think even Smith v KP is pretty debatable.KP the best batsman in this match
Can't imagine too many people will be dashing to their nearest TV screens to watch the partnership. However, it is a crucial one for England, Cook with the confidence of the ton in the last Test and Colly in good form. Will take a slow, scruffy 100 partnership though.Ta mate - with those two in, glad there's no Foxtel here
I started watching Bangladesh vs. Sri Lanka as soon as Collingwood came out to bat. Yes I appreciate his style to does not endear him to the neutrals. But to enjoy watching Colly bat you have to get past the fact you are not about to enjoy a free-flowing innings full of outrageous strokeplay, and focus more on the situation he is going in to and how he goes about repelling a buoyant attack, through thoughtful plans, playing within his limitations, and strong mental attributes. Not great TV ? Fair enough.I started watching Bangladesh vs. Sri Lanka as soon as Collingwood came out to bat. I actually don't mind watching Cook though.
Oh without a doubt, I agree. I respect Collingwood, wish Australia had someone similar! That's why I changed the channel/live stream, I was pretty sure he'd last until lunch and I really wanted to watch Ashraful bat.Yes I appreciate his style to does not endear him to the neutrals. I do put him high on the list of Test players you would have a fairly large degree of confidence in when walking to the middle during what is either a mini-crisis or something more serious. As is the case, it may have the neutrals changing channels, but his importance is crucial in this type of position.
I agree fully with this. KP does not belong in the same compartment as Kallis atleast as of now.DWTA. The best batsman in this match scored a ton. I think even Smith v KP is pretty debatable.
There was never a point where he was actually better than Kallis tbfh.I agree fully with this. KP does not belong in the same compartment as Kallis atleast as of now.
ITTBT, were I at home I'd be watching mate - don't mind seeing a tough grind for runs at all. would rather watch Colly over Cook tbh. Can't imagine too many people will be dashing to their nearest TV screens to watch the partnership. Likewise.Moment of truth now then, can Ian Bell make runs under pressure? I'm going to bet on it being a no.
Wow. Didn't know one inexperienced player could make that difference.Loving the look of this South African attack. Arguably the best in the world, imo.
I see where Ntini says he still wants to play tests. Surely the attack is sharper without him.Wow. Didn't know one inexperienced player could make that difference.
