Can anyone tell me what has happed with Dimitri Mascarenhas? Was supposed to be playing for Tasmania in the 20twenty but this doesn't seem to have happened. Anyone know why?

I may be a biased Daniel Christian fan, but if they're keen on picking a second all rounder for the shorter versions of the game as well as Watson, I'd be pretty keen to see this guy get a go. May not be as consistent as Hopes but is much more of a long term option and definitely going to win you more games IMO.

I *did* watch a lot of young Warne and Smith is similar in some ways. It's not technique (Smth is more Sleep than Warne) and certainly not turn. Think it's his body language and aura more than anything. Just has the ability to take wickets even if ya can't pinpoint why. I see why people rate him so highly. That said, everyone said the same thing about Shannon Tubb (who?!? Yeah exactly).

One thing Warne had even from ball 1, though, was accuracy, big drift and big turn. He took a while to work out his lengths but even though he got smashed in his first Test, he ripped a few past Shastri's bat too. As I've said before, get the feeling that Smith would be the same if picked; would likely get tonked but would put a few batters on notice that once he put the whole package together, he'll be dangerous.
ahaha, yes I remember, young Tassie chinaman bowler.

The Aussie selectors need to stop attempting to pull the next Warne from nowhere and perhaps try to get the next MacGill, Miller or May

Pretty sure they already found one. Took a 5-fer last test.

Put some cash on the WACA's tonight paying $2.17, not bad considering Krejza is batting at 6 for Tas. I am worried about Bailey though.

I did the exact same thing Nufan! Couldn't believe the odds on WA, even with Gayle out.

Tassie chose 5 specialist batsmen and it looked like they were going to pay for such stupidity until Rana Naved spanked the crap out of the WA bowlers

Can't decide which run-out I like better. The first one took 'flukiness' on the cricket field to a new high while the second was just funny.

Gee Luke Pomersbach looked haggard out there tonight, I know he hasn't had a bat at this level in ages and he was only around for a few balls...but you'd struggle to get an uglier innings out of Chris Martin. The whole momentum of the game seemed to change from that point...

Yeah his shot was ridiculous, but Ronchi's shot was dumb as well.

0-40 and cruising, should have been an easy win from there.

What a game from Rana Naved.

Did anyone else find it odd watching a Tasmania versus Western Australia game with Tasmania wearing yellow and WA in green?

Blues value tonight at $2.12

Even though the Vics have them beat man-for-man, NSW have more matchwinners and more matchwinners in form.

I've picked the Blues tonight too but not super confident now that PHughes's out of the game (he's joined the Aussie team).

Also I doubt that Hodge and Hussey will both have quiet games again like they did vs. QLD.

Weird, outside at the moment you could swear that we are about to get a shedload of rain. Radar isn't showing anything though. Will be interesting to see if they get through the game.
