I hope Strauss hasn't forgotten what happened at St Johns
Still makes it interesting and therefore memorable. Sorry buddy, better luck with Durhams Ashes bid next time.TMS pissing me off some more. An imbecile saying the stolen Ashes Test in Cardiff was memorable. No it was horrible low quality garbage with an interesting end because of England's rubbish batting.
It always seems easier to bat in the middle sessions over there.Begs the question, why the hell wasn't Broad doing this about an hour and a half ago?
Logic and picking spinners seems to go out the window with Warnie. Must have rubbed off from JennerBTW, not sure if it's been mentioned, but Warney's laughable Hants bias in his column trying to get Carberry called up. He mentioned his off-spin as a factor, yeah those 9 first-class wickets at over 80 really should give him the edge
Gotta luv Shane.
I guess you were right here!I presume they've just been looking to survive until Lunch with 6 wickets down, and then really up the pace in the Afternoon session. Doesn't really make any sense, as they could have just had a bash now and after lunch. Losing 1 extra wicket down wouldn't have been a disaster, especially if it was Broad.
Captain's orders?Begs the question, why the hell wasn't Broad doing this about an hour and a half ago?
If England can score at 4+ an over, why not bat till 250 ahead, all going well?Well at least we can see the charge is on now.Get to 600 i reckon and declare.
600 is a lead of 257,that'll do and getting 600 is a big moral boost for the next test too.If England can score at 4+ an over, why not bat till 250 ahead, all going well?
Innings win on the cards IMO
