He was fairly low-profile though. And was very poor for his first half-season, Ferguson playing him over Heinze was a source of much frustration amongst United fans at the time. Vidic was poor too.

Signing players in January rarely improves your side in the short-term. Unless you're a crap club signing someone several classes above the players you've already got like Youri Djorkaeff or Christophe Dugarry to help you stay up.

Hated him at Bolton, they were our bogey clob for a good few years. Can remember one game at the Reebok where we were leading with not much time to go and he turned the game on its head. Arse :p

Drafted into my successful fantasy team that year. Remember that game well, was glorious. This was back when Arsenal were the arch enemy rather than the team that will hopefully stand in the way of Liverpool or Chelsea winning the league any time soon.

Yeah exactly. Spurs given so much room to attack, West Ham defence is so poor.

We need a second goal though to be sure of the 3 points though, tipping PCrouch to score in the second half.
