Wow, worst of the lot. Watto looking his customary village against spin of any quality.

It's beyond me how these two are still together.

One of them has to go on to score 100 with the lives they've been given.

It's hard to take them seriously as a test nation while they demonstrate this abject worse than mediocrity style of fielding.

Not Terrible
In New Zealand they actually did quite well in regards to fielding in every matter besides catching. Though as the series went on good ball stopping and throws even began to become more infrequent as their terrible catching dragged the whole team down in the field. But savings runs is one thing, catches win matches.

No point in having bowlers who provide chances if you can't field. That was one area where the saffers absolutely excelled in Australia last season. In the critical Perth test, they held everything, including blinders (AB especially) which set the tone for the series. Pakistan has always been a bit culpable in this area.

Another drop. Seriously how do Pakistan do it?
I'd say a less than acceptable attitude towards fielding practice would be the main reason. I'm surprised to see the bowlers so calm about it, although maybe they've grown to accept it.

The guy in the gully jumping about shaking his hand looked quite funny though.

Umar Akmal?

Martin Crowe has already compared to Javed Miandad, according to Mark Nicholas.

Yep, right decision to refer it. Watto is very much at risk of being nailed by Asif, though.
