SA going hard at WA, 2/170, 180 to get, Cosgrove and Klinger playing well on 38 and 60 respectively and upping the run-rate in the middle session, going along at over 4.5/over since lunch. Come on SA!

EDIT: Need 3.5 per over to win it.

EDIT2: Durn it. Damn you Goffers.

Jaques putting up his hand high in case Ponting can't bat.
Looks like Phil Hughes has got the nod as Ponting's replacement if required.

You mention Jacques, but one also has to ponder the lack of compassion shown to Chris Rogers.

His diposition has been elicited as a possible complication, but he's been in superlative touch with the bat for the Vics this season and continues to be overlooked.

EDIT: Played another indispensable innings today to help his side to a draw. It'd be such a pity if he finished his career having only played one test for Australia.

Jumping on the Khawaja bandwagon.

Just read some stats on another forum, since coming good with his 112 against Queensland last season he has played 7 games scoring 810 runs at an average of 81. Impressive stuff.

I have only seen him bat once, and he looked very tight with his technique.

You're a ****ing idiot.

In fairness, who knew SA would collapse?!

Just watching the SA highlights, WA just surged yesterday. Klinger got a beauty from Magoffin and the rest just collapsed from there in the face of good bowling and an awesome bit of cricket or two. Heal's ball to bowl O'Brien ripped a mile.

Knowles looks quick in the footage. Is that relatively new or was he considered quick when playing over there Jack?

Dave warners form must be a worry, must be pressure not to pick him in the big bash squad or pick him in the middle order.
Don't see him playing for aussie t20 games this year.

Known as genuinely quick, but would have to be bowling for half a season before he really revved it up, and had a lot of injuries.

Two spells stay in the memory: one on a quick Camberwell track where he took 6 in a one day game, including knocking a guy's helmet onto the stumps, and the other on a flat Albert track in a semi-final, where he bowled 30 overs for a five wicket haul, and it turned out that he bowled throughout the day with a torn ACL which required surgery. Was still bowling wheels too.

Looked decent, but lost abit of the zip he has when really on form.

Reckon he will have a couple of seasons in the West before fading from the first class scene.
Ok, so you wouldn't consider him for a test place if injuries erupted again, based on what you've seen of him currently?

Yeah I remember you mentioning his injuries when at Camberwell. Bowling with a torn ACL? That's nuts.

Good on him for making a go of it in the West. Handy for them!

This has to be one of the best spells of bowling I've seen in a Domestic Match. Hazlewood absolutely on fire, should have five.

Yeah, AWTA.

TBH the Victorian line up is probably almost International quality; Rogers, Hussey, Hodge, White and McDonald.

Can't wait to see him at the U19 World Cup, he actually played at my Captain/Coaches old club in Tamworth.

This is the first time I've seen Hazelwood bowl, this kid has serious talent. Made some pretty good players look distinctly average.
