Hey, I'd love more games but if, say, we have 12 in a season and two of them get washed out purely because the season kicks off early, bit of a disadvantage to Vic.

Actually dunno why I give a toss. **** you Vics!
Could always just schedule all Vic's home games at the middle/end of the season if the early-season weather thing is a Vic-specific problem.

Shero is an all-rounder, bowls decently, but I wouldn't have though that he's ready for first class cricket yet. Hand has been forced though, not many blokes available.

Probably more suited to one day cricket in general. Bats pretty well too, once he gets a start.

Mitch Marsh having a fairly decent start this season. Love it when a 18 year old kid tears up the circuit.

Cheers Jack, and yeah Noble One it certainly is good!

Speaking of good, cricket.com.au have improved there site so much, I love how easy it is now to check out individual scoring charts and the manhattan and what not.

Nice that NSW vs Vic has gotten underway today, Jaques already out for 8.

Whats Hastings like with the ball?

21 wickets @ around 16 for the year is not a bad effort!

Is he International selection material down the track?

No idea, but I don't think the Vic attack would have been anything like the Pakistan attack is going to be!

Still, good on Hughes for finally getting past 3 figures.

Nice to see Holland take a couple of wickets and Cullen Bailey pick up 4 against WA.

Yikes, just had a look. Has fallen a long way since Siddle-Nannes-McKay.

Any word on whether he's been tested with the shorter deliveries?
Pakistan have no bowler Flintoff type bowler to test him like that TBF.

Looking forward to Rogers scoring a century. Its basically should be Hughes vs Rogers for Ponting place vs PAK.

How has Noffke's bowling looked this season for those who have seen him?
Looked decent, but lost abit of the zip he has when really on form.

Reckon he will have a couple of seasons in the West before fading from the first class scene.

Shocking performance with the ball in the first innings, good to see him get some runs though. Surprised he's playing as an out and out bowler, effectively the second quick behind Hastings, even with the Comets and grade cricket here he was a 6 or 7 bat and a first or second change bowler.
