Had a long-term ankle injury sustained in the previous decade but missed quite a bit of cricket between 2003/4/5 seasons because of it and was managed through it. That was the rationale given for why he lost his nip, he could no longer bowl without being in pain.Interesting point about Asif here Xuhaib. Was it that worrying in NZ recently?. Since i hate it if he has indeed lost anything in his bowling due to an injury at this ealry stage of his career still.
Not sure Pollock had any injury post 2000 TBF. He had an early career injury which made his slower - but he was always excellent. He declined post 2003 to be exact because he lost nip in his bowling. But overall yea i see what you saying..
Listening to Damien Fleming on ABC during the second test he was of the opinion that House's injury would take months (as long as eight months because it’s so serious) to correct. I read that House made a comeback on the weekend but promptly felt discomfort.I'm almost glad Hilfenhaus is injured as it ensures Bollinger a spot in the XI. Though I'd rather Hilfy than Siddle.
Trying so hard to at least get to lunch on day 1 of the first test before making my first roids mention, don't put temptation in my path...Had a long-term ankle injury sustained in the previous decade but missed quite a bit of cricket between 2003/4/5 seasons because of it and was managed through it. 8 months? I'm surprised. He took 4/18 in grade cricket, you would think the injury wasn't THAT seriousListening to Damien Fleming on ABC during the second test he was of the opinion that House's injury would take months (as long as eight months because it’s so serious) to correct. According to Dr Flem it takes that long to properly heal though you can play in the meantime.8 months? I'm surprised. He took 4/18 in grade cricket, you would think the injury wasn't THAT serious
May not be a doctor but if there's one thing Flem knows, it's fast bowling and knees. I'd be listening to him.According to Dr Flem it takes that long to properly heal though you can play in the meantime.
Fun times in store then?Manged to catch some Sami in the domestic final and it is hard to believe but he has actually declined as a bowler, was easily the worst bowler on show and that includes some overs from Younis Khan.
stopped bowling 90mph alf volleys instead he's shifted to 85 mph half volleys.Fun times in store then?
Played 23 games for Pakistan with three fifties and a highest score of 77 to show for it as a middle order batsman in a career that ran parallel to Younis, Yousuf and Inzy. I'm not surprised he isn't in the team, although certain others have been given lots more faith after similar failings to be fair and he's always been an absolute gun domestically.Question for Pakistan fans; whatever happened to Hasan Raza? I noticed he's in the middle of playing in the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy final and I'm surprised to have not seen him in Pakistan colours for some time. Can anyone offer some insight as to why he's just disappeared? Thought he looked very solid when I saw him play in Sharjah after his first comeback. Good fielder too.
weak against the short ball and hence dropped after 2 failures against Flintoff and Harmison when it was suppose to be his time to shine, best Pakistan batsman against spin since Miandad not a surprise he handled Warne without any issues. Went ICL when there was a window of opportuinity due to Inzi's retirement.A much better bat then Misbah,Malik or Faisal many of those 23 games happened before he was even 18 so I will not look too much in to it.Played 23 games for Pakistan with three fifties and a highest score of 77 to show for it as a middle order batsman in a career that ran parallel to Younis, Yousuf and Inzy.
